  ‘Hinaya Higashiyama’ machiya house: a leisurely stroll to the historic Higashi Chaya Tea District in Kanazawa city. This traditional Kanazawa-style machiya house is illuminated by warm lighting & features an exterior inspired by the former samurai residences found in the Nagamachi District. The dark, latticed exterior invites you to enter into the heart of “Hinaya Higashiyama” - an expansive space filled with soft illumination. Follow to corridor into the dining room area with sky-high ceilings that showcase original wooden beams. The inner garden can be admired from the dining table, the luxuriously renovated bathroom, and the sofa area in the loft above. Head upstairs to find 2 bedrooms - one Western-style and one Japanese-style. The Western-style room includes 2 semi-double beds to provide the perfect place to rest, whilst the Japanese-style room is enveloped in the traditional Kanazawa hue of 'gunjo' blue. This renovated machiya house features modern facilities such as floor heating, WiFi, luxurious bath with a garden view, dining table, IH stovetop, and more.
