To get to this charming machiya house, you’ll walk through the lively Sanjo Shopping Arcade, which also has a history of over 100 years. The shopping arcade is lined with over 180 restaurants, cafes, shops, bakeries, supermarkets, and more. The 1F living-dining room is a spacious area surrounded by traditional ‘yukimi shoji’ sliding doors. Just behind the sliding shoji doors is a full kitchen, washing machine, and luxurious bathroom enveloped in ‘hinoki’ wood. On the 2F are 2 bedrooms: a western-style bedroom with 2 double-size beds, and a classic tatami room that can accommodate up to 2 guests on futon beds. The double bed can sleep up to 2 guests per bed.
