  'Kuraha' Machiya House: a traditional Japanese holiday home (vacation rental) located within walking distance of Kanazawa Station. Reserved exclusively for one group per stay, this private machiya townhouse combines traditional Japanese architecture with a historic kura (storehouse) retained from the machiya's original design. Slide open the entrance doors and step into a spacious machiya house accommodating up to 13 guests across five bedrooms. The living and dining area features a large dining table and comfortable sofa seating. One of the most distinctive features of the house is its original kura (storehouse), which has been converted into the master bedroom. Stone walls finished with hexagonal tiles, exposed wooden beams, and high ceilings highlight the kura's original character, while two queen beds provide comfortable accommodation. The bathroom features a hinoki wood bathtub surrounded by stone tiles and a spacious shower area. In addition to the 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, 3 private bedrooms are located on the second floor. The house accommodates up to 13 guests with a combination of five Western-style beds and five traditional futon sets.
