Walk along the stone-paved pathway and discover your very own two-storey traditional machiya house, ‘Kumashu-an’. The exterior is designed with wooden ‘koshi’ lattice doors and windows to create an inviting atmosphere. This machiya house features its original wooden architecture, delicately arched doorways, traditional Japanese room, and more. The Japanese room can be converted into a sleeping space when there are more than 2 guests. Perfect for couples or anyone traveling with a smaller group, this machiya features a seating area on the 2F along with a cozy Western-style bedroom with earthen walls.
