  'Kurohoro’ machiya house: a traditional holiday house (vacation rental) located in the central Hikoso-machi area, a former samurai neighbourhood. Renowned sites are an easy walk away, or accessible by the Kanazawa Loop Bus. With a wooden and black plaster facade, and roof tiles decorated with auspicious crests, “Kurohoro” recalls this former samurai neighbourhood’s rich history. The spacious kitchen-dining area on the 1F is complete with a large induction stove top, cooking facilities, and relaxing dining table. The Japanese room features a tokonoma alcove, and a view of a garden through a 'marumado' round window. Upstairs, you'll find 2 bedrooms and an additional shower room and toilet for your convenience. The classic Japanese room features shoji windows and tatami flooring, while the Western-style room features a room enveloped in delicate woodwork. This renovated Kanazawa machiya house also includes modern facilities such as floor heating, WiFi, IH stovetop, washing machine, and more.
