This spacious 108.19㎡ machiya, inspired by the region's renowned shunkei nuri lacquerware, accommodates up to nine guests and features locally sourced sugi cedar exteriors, a private maeniwa courtyard garden with Japanese maple, and refined architecture with high ceilings once reserved for Takayama's prominent families. The house offers 4 bedrooms with traditional tatami or Western-style options, a first-floor bathroom with ‘shunkei nuri’-inspired red tiles and hinoki cypress bath, and an upstairs irori-style hearth table for gathering, all showcasing the natural warmth and craftsmanship of Hida's mountain artisans.
