  ‘Yoinotake’ machiya house: a traditional Kyoto holiday house (vacation rental) located in the historical Higashiyama area. Just a few minutes walk from one of Kyoto’s oldest temples, Sanjusangendo Temple, and with easy access to Gion, Tofukuji Temple and Fushimi Inari Shrine. ‘Yoinotake’ machiya house also takes inspiration from Kyoto's serene yet vibrant bamboo groves by incorporating its delicate features into its machiya design. Step through the noren curtains and into a calming atmosphere surrounded by bamboo. As you move through the spacious dining room, you'll be greeted with a perfect view of a karesansui garden. On the first floor are 2 quintessentially Japanese-style rooms, a modern kitchen, and a luxurious bathroom complete with a ‘goemon’ cauldron-style bathtub. A western-style bedroom occupies the entire 2F, and features high ceilings, wooden beams, and relaxing sofa.
